Sod webworm activity was quite prolific this past season. The activity was extended due to the weather conditions. I had many  who opted to do multiple surface insect controls and it did make a noticeable difference with the lawn condition. These damaging insects can be very difficult to predict with their multiple generations a season. The amount of sod webworm damage and activity does have me a bit perplexed. Reason would say that with all the rain the caterpillars would have drown but this was not the case and the activity continued for a very long period of time. Mother Nature can be tough to figure out sometimes.

I want to thank all of our customers, both our loyal customers and new customers, for another strong season this year.

If you were wondering when a project may be able to be started I would recommend calling the office to inquire about the time frame.

Please give the office a call if there are any services you need done, would like to add, or if you need an evaluation or pricing for any of our services.

We look forward to having another great season in 2018 and Thank-you,

Brian Dunning
